Treat yourself to a festive fall manicure.

From orange and black to deep shades of purple and red, there are so many ways to deck your nails out for the fall season. With a great nail tech, you can even add some additional flair that pays homage to a favorite fall activity or Halloween flick. Trini at N3 Nails is no stranger to supplying awesome, unique designs that will last for weeks. We recently walked out with these beautiful burgundy and gold accents that we just can’t stop staring at.

Visit a local market to find fresh produce, thrifted treasures, and handmade goodies.

There are a wide range of markets throughout the Las Vegas Valley that offer an interesting variety of goods. Farmer’s markets, for instance, provide amazing opportunities to connect with local farmers and artisans while picking up some fresh, delicious ingredients for any upcoming meals. First Friday occurs Downtown on the first Friday of every month and serves as a great place to start if you’re looking to learn more about everything the Vegas community has to offer. From dining and drinking experiences to unique retail shopping and entertainment, there’s something fun for everyone to enjoy.

Massive weekend markets like Broadacres Marketplace allow hundreds of vendors to come together and show off their work. It’s a fantastic spot to hang out with friends and family and simultaneously find a new favorite shop or sign up for a volunteer opportunity.

Pick your own apples and pumpkins.

“Wait, there are orchards in the desert?” Yes! Gilcrease Orchard is a favorite of many locals, with the Gilcrease family preserving the land for over 90 years. This non-profit focuses on providing educational and recreational opportunities in agriculture to community members. You can stop by to pick your own goodies, enjoy the autumn ambiance, or indulge in a refreshing snack. Apple cider, pear cider, caramel apples, and cinnamon doughnuts are all on the menu!

Embrace the scaries with a spooky ghost tour.

In Las Vegas, there are plenty of ghost stories to go around. In fact, there are even some local ghost towns. Some of our favorites are Rhyolite, which includes a nearby open-air museum full of ghostly photo-ops; Nelson, featuring crashed planes, mine tours, and kayaking opportunities; and Pioche, a former home of numerous Wild West shootouts (trust us, you’ll want to read the gravestones).

If you’re looking to keep things a little more local, there are ghost tours available all over town, including on the Strip or other iconic locations. Try searching for Mob Tours or creepy museums – you’ll be amazed by all of the available options!
